Planting Roots at White Oaks

The photographer(s) you choose to document your wedding day become the most intimate wedding vendor you will encounter. It is such a blessing to be so close to our couples on their most special day. Michael and MaryAnn said their vows in front of John Folse’s White Oak Plantation. A cupcake tower in lieu of a traditional cake hints at this couple’s fun personalities. *Photo Explanation- In the second picture, you see the bride taping a penny in her shoe (for luck, of course). This a tradition in her family.

Celebrating in Cajun Country

We love to travel! We joined Jake and Erin deep in Cajun Country just outside of Lafayette. Point-Aux-Loups Springs Ballroom is a location with a rich history. The building was built in 1930 and was once a pump station to springs rumored to have healing and mystic powers. With a crystal cake, an ice cream sundae bar, this wedding was special. Truett and I left feeling like a part of their family.
